Minister for Planning, Rob Stokes, has released a new draft for the Parramatta Road Urban Transformation Strategy upgrade.
This will be followed by a round of consultation from community on the 30-year plan for the corridor.
“This draft plan has been a collaborative effort, and I’m pleased it addresses community feedback which called for more details about public transport, better walking and cycling options, as well as proposed building heights and density,” Stokes said.
The community will be able to comment on the plan over the next three months.
Stokes said the draft strategy has been prepared in collaboration with councils along the corridor.
“The precinct plans provide principles and targets for growth and development, an integrated land use and transport plan prepared jointly by UrbanGrowth NSW and Transport for NSW,” he said.
“We look forward to hearing from the community through the large range of consultation options available.”
