Eric Roozendaal is Treasurer of NSW, with a focus on supporting jobs and investment in the state's $380 billion economy.
He is responsible for the NSW Government's massive $65.5 billion infrastructure building program over the next four years - a record
investment supporting 165,000 jobs a year.
The NSW economy is the engine room of Australia - it is one-third of the national economy.
As Treasurer, Mr Roozendaal improved the NSW Budget position during the global financial crisis - and NSW secured its credit rating to AAA stable.
The Hon. Linda Burney
Minister for the State Plan - NSW
Linda Burney was elected to the NSW Parliament in 2003 as the Member for Canterbury. She is currently the Minister for Community Services and Minister for the State Plan in the Keneally Government. She is also the Coordinating Minister for the Department of Human Services: the umbrella agency for the portfolios of community services, housing, ageing, disability and home care, juvenile justice and Aboriginal Affairs.
Linda is the first Aboriginal Australian to be elected to the NSW Parliament and a proud member of the Wiradjuri nation. Her commitment to Indigenous issues spans more than 30 years.
Linda is a passionate advocate for social justice. As Minister for Community Services, her primary concern is the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children. She is leading the government’s reform of child protection through the five year-plan Keep Them Safe.

Robertson MLC
Minister for Transport - NSW
John Robertson MLC was appointed as NSW Minister for Transport in May 2010.
John’s focus is to deliver better public transport for commuters from the ground up. The Metropolitan Transport Plan sets out the strategy for Greater Sydney’s long term growth that will better connect our network of cities within a city.
John sees his challenge as transforming the NSW Government’s plans for the State’s transport needs into real benefits for the people of NSW. This means more buses and trains, and better services for more than 1.5 million people who use Sydney’s public transport network every working day.
Appointed to the NSW Cabinet in January 2009, John has also held the portfolios of Energy, Industrial Relations, Commerce, Public Sector Reform, Environment and Climate Change, Corrective Services and Special Minister of State.
Previously the Secretary of Unions NSW and Vice-President of the Australian Council of Trade Unions, from 2005-07 John met with and addressed thousands of NSW workers and community members in rural and regional NSW on the Your Rights at Work bus tour.
He has served as a Director of Energy Australia, WorkCover NSW, the Parramatta Stadium Trust and of 2KY broadcasters, was formerly a member of the NSW Heritage Council and an Executive Officer for the Labor Council of NSW.
The Hon. Tony Kelly
Minister for Planning - NSW
Tony Kelly is the NSW Minister for Planning, Minister for Infrastructure and Minister for Lands in the NSW Government and is a Member of the Legislative Council where he serves as the Deputy leader of the Government and Leader of the House. As a Labor politician, Tony’s longstanding service to the community is inspired by his commitment to social justice principles.
Tony worked for over 30 years in Local Government in regional NSW in various positions including paymaster, accountant and deputy shire clerk, then finally general manager at Wellington Council.
Tony is an active supporter of regional communities and was a founding member of Country Labor, formed to provide a parliamentary voice for regional Labor supporters. Locally he is a member for the Neurea and Mount Arthur Rural Fire Service Brigades.
Tony has held a number of portfolios since his elevation to the Ministry in 2003 including; Rural Affairs, Local Government, Emergency Services, Assistant Minister for Natural Resources, Minister for Justice, Minister for Juvenile Justice and Minister for Police.
Some of Tony’s key interests centre around sustainable regional development in country NSW, as well as the development of a mature biofuel industry in Australia.
Mr Sam Haddad

Sam Haddad has had more than 30 years professional experience, including 15 years at senior executive level.
He has worked in the private sector in project management and infrastructure development, and has held several senior positions with the NSW Department of Planning and its predecessors, including Head of Division, Executive Director and Deputy Director General.
Sam has extensive experience in administering and leading the State’s planning system, including strategic planning policy development and regulatory reform. He has led and implemented significant policy, legislative, organisational and operational reforms.
Chris Lock

Chris Lock is the Chief Executive of the Transport Construction Authority (formerly known as TIDC). Mr Lock was appointed a member of the TIDC Board in April 2005.
Previously, Mr Lock held the position of Principal and Director at Evans & Peck management consultants, providing expertise in business planning and commercial and project management issues to both private and public sector clients.
Mr Lock has more than 30 years experience in the construction industry, both in Australia and overseas, and has been a director of two of Australia’s major construction companies. He has been associated with notable Australian projects including Darling Harbour, the Sydney Harbour Tunnel, Anzac Bridge and Melbourne City Link.
John Tabart

John Tabart is the Chief Executive Officer of the Barangaroo Delivery Authority, the NSW Government body established to oversee the $6 billion redevelopment of the 22-hectare city site on Sydney Harbour’s foreshore.
John is also an external Director of Maddocks Lawyers and Infrastructure Partnerships Australia.
Previously, John was the Managing Director of Explore Capital Ltd, the London based UK development and investment subsidiary of Laing O’Rourke Plc and nonexecutive Director of Sama Dubai LLC in Dubai, the international real estate development and investment subsidiary of Dubai Holdings.
From 1995-2006 John was CEO of the Docklands Authority and VicUrban, the Victorian State Government’s sustainable development arm, which included the $16 billion, 200-hectare Melbourne Docklands. Also previously Development Director of Brisbane International Airport, CEO of Mirage Resorts in Australia and the USA and Managing Director of Lend Lease Residential Pty Ltd.
John holds a degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Tasmania and is a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors, the Australian Institute of Engineers and the Australian Institute of Public Administration.
Ari Petrovs

First joining Grocon in 2000, Ari has 15 years development experience and currently holds the position of Manager, New Developments. Based in Sydney, Ari has recently relocated from Grocon’s Melbourne office.
A qualified Planner, Ari has extensive experience in the marketing, management and delivery of commercial, retail, industrial and residential developments. Ari has developed a particular skill for the management of large and complex mixed use projects, having previously managed the development of Grocon’s $600m QV Project and $1Bn Carlton Brewery Projects in Melbourne.
Ari is actively involved in the not for profit sector and currently Chairs YMCA Community Housing in Victoria.
Gerald Fender

Gerald Fender is the contractor’s senior executive on the Mardi-Mangrove Link Project and is responsible for the successful execution of the contract which meets the needs of the Client and the Contractor. He specifically drives the behaviours of his project team to collaboratively and effectively accomplish the mutual project goals.
Gerald is also the NSW/ACT Operations manager for John Holland Water. He is responsible for all water and waste water projects in the region. This currently includes the Priority Sewerage Program Alliance, North Head PARR, the Bulk Water Alliance, Hawkesbury Nepean Monitoring program and the Mardi- Mangrove Link project.
Gerald has a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management and has over 30 years of progressively responsible positions delivering infrastructure in the USA, Canada and Australia.
Greg McDonald

Wyong & Gosford Shire Council
Greg McDonald is the Project Director for the Mardi-Mangrove Link Project and is responsible for ensuring all elements of the project are delivered in a timely, cost effective and appropriate manner.
Greg is also the Manager of Water and Waste at Wyong Shire Council. He is responsible for delivering water and sewer services to a population of 145,000 people.
In 2007 Greg presented the paper “Tillegra Dam – Effects on a small community” to the Institute of Public Works Engineers at the state conference. Greg was subsequently awarded the GA Taylor medal for best conference paper.
Greg has a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, A Masters Degree in Engineering Science and a Master of Business Administration.
Steve Laister

Steve Laister is an ERM Partner with over twenty years experience of Environmental Impact Assessment in the UK and Australasia. His expertise covers strategic reviews, feasibility and site selection studies, the environmental assessment process to international standards, public consultation, and EMP development and implementation.
He has managed and directed EIA studies for water and waste water infrastructure, electricity generation and transmission facilities, oil and gas facilities, port and marine disposal facilities, mass rail transit and freight rail systems.
Steve has led ERM and multi company project teams based within client organisations, such as Shell and Sydney Water.
He is familiar with presenting technical and politically sensitive environmental issues to senior Government and Advisory Bodies, special interest groups (NGO's) and the general public.
Ian Payne

Ian is General Manager of Asset Solutions, Sydney Water.
During the last 10 years Ian has led large complex infrastructure programs and projects that have involved significant interaction with the community and covered a wide range of environmental needs.
Ian’s most recent role prior to his appointment as General Manager of Asset Solutions was Project Director of Sydney’s Desalination Plant.
Bob Handley

Bob has over 30 years experience working on major infrastructure projects in NSW. Since the early 1980s, Bob has been based in the Hunter Valley working on projects such as the F3, HW23 and Pacific Highway projects.
Bob is currently the RTA's Major Projects Implementation Manager, Hunter.
David Beslich

Hansen Yuncken
David has been a Director of Hansen Yuncken since 1995. With a degree in Architecture, David has held a number of design and construction, and management related roles within Hansen Yuncken NSW over his 24years service.
With the continued growth of Hansen Yuncken as a national contractor, David now has responsibility for National Business Development and new project generation. His particular focus is on “building value” into project delivery for Hansen Yuncken’s clients and is a highly experienced Project Director of PPP projects.
David is the Hansen Yuncken Project Director and part of the Axiom Education Consortium which delivered the first 9 schools for the NSW Government and now currently delivering the New Schools PPP II project.
He is also the Project Director for Hansen Yuncken for the new $240m Orange Hospital and Associated Health Facilities PPP and the BER NSW Schools $460m MC contract.
David is also part of the HY/Leighton bid team for the $2.0bn new Royal Adelaide Hospital in South Australia.
David is highly regarded by his peers within the Construction and Project Finance Industries. He is noted for his direct and hands on approach, his understanding of Government protocols and processes, his PPP project experience, and has a passionate commitment to project excellence and ‘best for project’ approach.
Mark Sydney

Mark Sydney founded the boutique property company Pamada in 1984. For the first 15 years projects remained relatively small and Pamada was run very much as a hobby whilst Mark had senior roles with Mirvac and Lend Lease and with GPT prior to making pamada the primary focus.
Mark has a strong knowledge in complex projects, particularly residential. He has been Bid Leader for very large and complex Government Bids including (Sydney Olympic Village, Rouse Hill Regional Centre (NSW), Victoria Harbour (Melbourne) and Barangaroo (Sydney).
A Director of Pamada, Mark drives the business with enormous product knowledge for development, design and construction issues regarding complex residential projects.
Kerry Marshall

Kerry Marshall is the Director Asset Management, DJAG - Attorney Generals Division. He is a civil engineer but has worked primarily as a project manager on major construction projects.
Kerry has had held a number of senior positions in asset and project management in both the private and public sector. Kerry served for 16 years in the Australian Army, primarily in project management including postings to the United Kingdom and Papua New Guinea. He has worked for a medium sized construction firm as a site engineer on retail developments in Victoria and spent 5 years with GHD as a Principal Project Manager working on projects in the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.
Kerry has been in his current position for just over two years, previously undertaking the role of Assistant Director Major Works within the Department.
Egle Garrick
General Manager,
Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority
Egle Garrick has a 30 year career in public administration working at senior management level in urban development and transport state government agencies.
Ms Garrick is General Manager at Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, a State Government agency responsible for the place management, heritage conservation and urban regeneration of significant state harbour assets including Darling Harbour and The Rocks.
Ms Garrick joined the Foreshore Authority in 2003 as Executive Director Service Delivery managing construction projects, facilities and maintenance for the organisation. She moved to the position of Executive Director Corporate Services before commencing as General Manager in 2010.
The first woman in NSW to manage a public bus depot, Ms Garrick was General Manager of Sydney Ferries from 1997 to 2001, managing ferry transport for the Sydney Olympics.
In the 1980s, Ms Garrick worked as speechwriter for the then Premier of NSW, the Hon Barrie Unsworth.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Science and Society from the UNSW, postgraduate qualifications in Transport Management and Librarianship, a Graduate Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and sits on the Advisory Committee of the Faculty of the Built Environment at the University of NSW.
Ms Garrick is a Non-Executive Director of MTC Workplace Solutions, and of the Place Leaders Association, an Australasian urban renewal association.
Richard Evans

Richard began his career working as a freelance promoter, publicist, stage and production manager eventually taking on the role of Executive Producer with the New Zealand Puppet Theatre. In 1993, Mr Evans moved to Australia, working with the Spare Parts Puppet Theatre in Fremantle later moving on to take up the position of General Manager of the DeckChair Theatre Company. In 1995 he joined the State Theatre Company of South Australia as Associate Producer. Richard was General Manager of Bell Shakespeare Company from 1997 until 2002 when he became General Manager of The Australian Ballet and Executive Director in 2004. Richard was Secretary of the Australian Major Performing Arts Group during 2000-2001, served on the Executive Council of the Australian Entertainment Industry Association from 2002 to 2005, and was Chairman of the board of Lucy Guerin Inc from 2006 to 2007. Richard is a member of the SOH Building Committee and Conservation Council.

Greg McTaggart

Greg has been involved in the delivery of public infrastructure and building projects for over 35 years, working on a diverse range of projects including schools and hospitals, water supply and sewerage infrastructure, grain handling facilities and major sporting venues including the ANZ Stadium, Sydney Athletic & Aquatic Centres and the Regatta Centre at Penrith Lakes. Greg was also involved in the planning, construction and operational activities associated with the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
His current role is as Director, Building Development and Maintenance at Sydney Opera House, having been appointed to this role in April 2008. Greg is also currently a member of the Trust Building Committee and Conservation Council. Greg is responsible for maintenance and conservation of the building, as well as major building projects and corporate safety, sustainability and procurement.
He joined Sydney Opera House in 2003 and was previously the Project Director of the Building Development Group, responsible for the planning and delivery of all major building projects at Sydney Opera House.

Commencing his role as a civil engineer on Chaffey Dam in northern NSW, David has worked in various roles both nationally and internationally for a number of leading contractors and organisations including:

In 1997 he joined the Olympic Coordination Authority as Project Director Sports West and was responsible for the construction and operations of all the sporting venues, transport facilities and common domain in Western Sydney.
In 2003 David cofounded Crown Project Services Pty Ltd an independent property and infrastructure project management firm based in Sydney. The firm specialized in complex projects with generally numerous stakeholders and reporting lines. In 2005 the firm commenced the refurbishment of Queens Square Law Courts project near Hyde Park in Sydney. It is considered that this project is one of the largest single building refurbishment projects in almost full occupation to be undertaken in Australia. David has been the Principal responsible for the project from inception and has an exceptional insight into the challenges being managed by the Client, as well as the Project Manager, the design and construction teams on this project.
David is also Director of Queensland Consulting Project Partners which is undertaking major civil engineering and social infrastructure projects in the South Pacific and northern Australia.
David is a Civil Engineer (UNSW), a fellow of Australian Institute of Company Directors, and on the NSW executive committee of the Australian Indonesian Business Council and Deputy Chairman of the SkyJuice Foundation.

Scott Gregg has recently been appointed Director of Property Development of Parramatta City Council overseeing an extensive portfolio of Council owned development sites.
Scott has over 30 years experience in the Property Industry private sector and joined Parramatta City Council in 2009, initially to oversee implementation of Council’s $1.5b Civic Place Project being delivered in partnership with Grocon.
From 1996 to 2009, Scott was Executive Development Manager for the Toga Group specialising in acquiring and delivering a range of mixed use projects including the $1.5b Darwin City Waterfront urban renewal project.
Scott holds a degree in Architecture from UTS, post graduate studies in Urban Estate Management, and is a Green Star Accredited Professional with a passion for Public Art and driving broader TBL outcomes from urban renewal mixed use projects.
Mr. Mark Broomfield

Mark has recently joined OMP, bringing with him a wealth of experience in real estate and property development both in Australia and internationally. He is responsible for the direction of all Macquarie University's major planning, capital, development and construction projects, including joint venture commercial development projects from conception to completion in keeping with the goals for the university set out in the MQ@50 Vision and Concept Plan 2008.

Chris has extensive water industry experience including planning, construction, asset management, operations, project management and business strategy. His current role as General Manager, Infrastructure Delivery for Hunter Water Corporation has the responsibility for delivering $1 Billion worth of infrastructure over 4 years.
Chris is currently a member of Newcastle’s Civil Engineering Advisory Board and is also Hunter Water’s representative on the Alliance Leadership Group (ALG) for the Hunter Treatment Alliance.
In recent years, Chris has given a great deal of focus on construction safety management, estimating, procurement optimisation and development of high performance teams.
Christopher Andrews

Chris is responsible for overseeing the operations of construction projects for The Reed Group across Australia. With over 15 years experience in construction and major infrastructure project management, Christopher brings a wealth of experience gained through the successful delivery of a range of commercial projects in the hospitality, education, retail and government sectors. His most recent role as Program Director for NSW Building the Education Revolution works – North Coast and New England, Christopher had responsibility for the delivery of building works worth $355 million dollars for 347 schools across the regions as part of the national stimulus package. He holds a degree in Construction Management and commenced his career in 1995 initially as a sub-contractor to The Reed Group.
